Bender Realty History

Never following traditional timelines, Amber purchased her first house at the age of 18 and was immediately intrigued by the complex processes and inner workings involved in the world of property transactions. When her second home was purchased one year later upon reaching the age of 19, Amber realized that real estate was truly going to be a life-long passion and endeavor. Ten years of property management have followed, allowing Amber to fully experience various roles involved in real estate.

A second passion for Amber: working and serving others. Utilizing her natural skills in business and organizational skills, Amber concurrently worked in various roles in the healthcare field, honing and polishing those natural talents. In 2011, following an accident which left her unable to work temporarily, Amber decided to focus primarily upon real estate and obtained her real estate sales license and REALTOR status. Amber’s combined business sense, task management, and understanding of real estate all fell into one neat package, and her current career goals involve assisting buyers and sellers in reaching their home ownership dreams. Today, Amber works with Bender Realty in the role of real estate agent and broker.

In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Volunteering and giving back to her community are two things Amber is known for, and she has been actively working in fund raising with Parent-Teacher Associations for area elementary schools in both Detroit Lakes and Moorhead, as well as local youth hockey programming. She has also donated time and talents to the WDAY Honor Flight program out of her appreciation for those Veterans who have ensured all of our lives continue to be full. Giving back is, in Amber’s mind, a true honor.
